EVENT : … And It will be Happening at A Hospital …

{jcomments on}

When we hear about hospitals, mostoften than not, we conjure and envision sick people, Drs and nurses running, crying kids and just people all fighting with the grim reaper.

For warriors, we have a certain bitter sweet kind of love affair with hospitals. We don’t wish to be there, but we find ourselves going there again and again. We go in screaming and we come out smiling and praying the next visit will be a long time coming.

In an era of happening now[s], where everyone wants to be the first to talk about an event, and in respect of this long standing love affair with hospitals, warriors, their care givers and empathizers will gather in no other place but at this favourite by default hangout of warriors… a hospital… to learn how to Care and Manage our condition.

So hospitals are not only about injections and fights with the grim reaper. There are also interesting stuffs happening there. Join us as we strive to educate, encourage and break the silence surrounding sickle cell disease. #BeASickleCellVoice. Come and hear from the experts, from warriors themselves and from care givers.

Special thanks to Ms Kathleen Ndongmo and Mr Penn Derrick aka  Bamenda Sherrif for their artisitic contributions.
And a very specialthank you to everyone supportimg this event. Join us and let’s make it happen now.

Keep reading, keep sharing and keep commenting. We are inspired by your comments, thank you.
